The school celebrated Teacher’s Day to thank its faculty for their commitment towards teaching. A Prayer Service for the teachers was organised by the management. A grand ceremony was held in the school auditorium. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer dance. A series of cultural performances were presented by students to enthral the audience, which included poems and dances. Principal Reverend Sister Venita Joseph thanked all teachers of the school for their dedication towards teaching. Many fun-filled activities and games were arranged for the teachers and they were awarded with some interesting prizes too. A sumptuous spread of dishes marked the culmination of the celebration.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
