Headmaster of The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Himmat Singh Dhillon has been awarded with the GSLC (Global School Leaders’ Consortium) Edvantage Collaborative Excellence Award-2024. The award aims to recognise excellent service and collaborative approach exhibited in the field of education. Sharing insights on ‘Breaking barriers, bonding over education’, Dhillon spoke about various ideas on transforming education in the 21st century. Addressing the gathering of eminent academicians and edupreneurs, Dhillon spoke about the concept of ‘Campus as Curriculum’. He said, “Nature is the best educator and all possible efforts should be made to take students closer to the myriad lessons that nature is constantly teaching about almost every subject, including the life guiding subject of philosophy. A teacher in the present pedagogical era is best placed as guide by the side and must shun his image as a sage on the stage.”
