Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 5, Mani Majra, organised an awareness workshop on drug addiction and alcoholism. The resource person emphasised that excessive use of drugs and alcohol is extremely harmful to the brain and behaviour, especially for adolescents, where it acts like a venom. He also highlighted that it's not just substance abuse, but mobile phone addiction is equally damaging for students. The speaker suggested several measures to control addiction, encouraging children to actively participate in games and sports as a healthy alternative.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
