The school organised an Inter-School Science Exhibition Competition on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of Kargil war hero martyr Captain Saurabh Kalia, also the alumnus of the school. Almost 50 students of 22 schools from Kangra and Hamirpur regions participated in it. Sukhdev Bhardwaj, Chairman, Ajanta Chemical Industries India, was the special guest. Dr Aparna, Dr Vipin Halan, and Dr SK Vats were the judges for the competition. Principal of the school Dr VK Yadav greeted and welcomed all guests. In the competition, the first position was secured by Shivansh Sharma and Devansh Sharma of DAV Public School, Hamirpur. Swarit Awasthi and Agrim Pathania of Cambridge International School, Palampur, stood second. The third prize was bagged by Raj Sharma and Vansh Chandel of DAV Public School, Dharamsala. The consolation prizes were given to Vyomesh Kalia and Harshit Awasthi of DAV Public School, Palampur, along with Shanaya Eyra Kacker and Prisha Verma of Mother’s Touch School, Palampur. The parents of Captain Saurabh Kalia, Mrs and Mr (Dr) NK Kalia, brother Vaibhav Kalia along with his entire family were present on the occasion.
