SD Model School, Jagadhari

A tree plantation programme was organised on the premises of the school under the guidance and co-operation of dignitaries of the SD School Managing Committee and Shri SD Sabha, Jagadhari. The programme started with plantation of trees by the guests, dignitaries of the School Managing Committee and Shri SD Sabha, Jagadhari — Arun Kumar Mittal, Praveen Sharma, Praveen Kumar Gupta, Manoj Kumar Gupta, Rajesh Goyal and Abhishek Mittal — along with Satish Garg, Principal, SD Senior Secondary School, Jagadhari. All students and teachers participated in the programme. One by one, students and teachers planted trees. The students also made some posters and banners on the importance of tree plantation. Principal Geetanjali Sharma, while explaining the importance of tree plantation, said if there are trees, there is life on Earth. That is why everyone should plant a tree every year and take care of it.
