The Aapna Punjab Foundation and Federation of Private Schools of Associations (FAP), Punjab, have set a target of planting 8.5 lakh trees this year, under which Eco Club volunteers of SEABA School, Lehragaga, have shown their interest in planting 850 trees and their maintenance. It was started by Karamjit Anmol, a famous Punjabi singer and actor and a founding member of SEABA Society, by planting a tree. Fruit tree saplings were also distributed to students. School administrator Kanwaljit Singh Dhindsa said after planting the trees, these children will upload their pictures giving updates on their maintenance.
