A vital session on the importance of traffic rules and road safety was conducted at the school. The event aimed to highlight the critical role these elements play in ensuring public safety. The resource persons included Inspector Balwinder Singh from the Traffic Police, Ludhiana, Manmeet Singh, a government resource person, and Constable Jasvir Singh. Participants were educated on various traffic regulations, including speed limits, the importance of wearing seat belts, and adhering to traffic signals. The session addressed the severe consequences of traffic violations, which can lead to hefty penalties, legal repercussions, and, most importantly, the tragic loss of life. The session concluded with a call to action for all attendees to become responsible road users and advocates for traffic safety. School Principal Dr Vandna Shahi emphasised that collective responsibility and adherence to traffic regulations can significantly reduce road accidents and save lives.
