Republic Day was celebrated in the school. After unfurling the flag, the importance of Republic Day was explained to the students. The children were encouraged to watch the Republic Day Parade and celebrations in New Delhi. Principal Sanjeev Gujral said, “The students need to know the meaning of a republic and it is our duty to explain the meaning of the republic to them.” Naresh Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Rajni Sharma, Pushkar Arora and Manjinder Johal were also present on the occasion. Students of the school presented a colourful cultural programme at the Republic Day celebrations held at Panchayat Ghar and at Patti Nilowal Square.
