The school celebrated Independence Day with a spirited class show. The event, organised by Class X students, featured a historical play, titled “Zafarnama”, directed in-house with poignant authenticity. The day commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Director Avinash Kaur and Principal Poonamjit Kaur along with the staff and students. Principal Poonamjit Kaur warmly welcomed distinguished guests, parents of the students, educators and presided over the symbolic lamp-lighting ceremony. Director Avinash Kaur delivered a heartfelt speech that underscored the importance of unity and need of preserving our nation’s cultural heritage and freedom. After the play, a series of performances, including patriotic songs and a vibrant bhangra, captured the essence of national pride and joy. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice-Principal. Raina Chona.
