DAV Public School, Bhupindra Road, Patiala, held a special assembly to celebrate Dasehra, blending the spirit of festivity with heartfelt homage to two great national leaders —Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The celebration commenced with a solemn floral tribute to Gandhi and Shastri, honouring their invaluable contributions to the nation. This was followed by a soul-stirring devotional song based on the Ramayana, presented by the school choir, setting a tone of reverence and righteousness. One of the key highlights was a captivating choreography depicting inspiring episodes from the life of Lord Rama, symbolising the eternal message of Dasehra — the victory of good over evil. Adding charm and innocence to the occasion, the UKG students delighted everyone with a rhythmic rhyme presentation on moral values, reinforcing the foundation of ethical living from an early age.
