A special assembly was organised at Sant Baba Nidhan Singh Ji Public School, Kartarpur, on the occasion of Diwali. The students explained the traditions of Diwali and presented a play depicting how Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. The children celebrated the joy of Diwali through songs and dance. On this occasion, all four houses - Gobind House, Ranjit House, Shivaji House and Tagore House - created beautiful rangolis, showcasing their artistic skills. The school principal encouraged the students to celebrate the festival together in harmony. Chairperson Surinder Kaur, along with Dr Charan Singh, Dr Pyar Singh, Mandeep Kaur, Satnam Singh and Palwinder Kaur, was present on the occasion. They inspired the students to celebrate the festival with unity and togetherness.
