Announcement of the result of Class XII by CBSE brought accolades and recognition to all management members, Principal, staff and students. Following the tradition of success, the students of SGHPS, Bathinda have delivered outstanding performance in their board exams. A total of 36 students appeared in AISSCE- 2025 Examination. Puneet Kumar has brought accolade and honour to the school by scoring 95.4 per cent marks in Commerce stream. He scored 100 per cent in Business Studies and 98 marks in accountancy. Harshdeep Singh and Poshit Sharma got the second and third positions with 90.2 per cent and 89 per cent, respectively. Harjap Kaur topped the Medical stream by securing 85.8 per cent. Harpreet Singh and Vanshpreet Singh scored 82.6 per cent in the Non Medical stream.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
