Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B Chandigarh, was ranked among India’s top schools by the EWISR 2025–26 (Education World All India School Rankings) under the category of Co-ed Day Schools. The prestigious three-day award ceremony, held at Hotel Pullman, Aerocity, New Delhi, witnessed the participation of leading schools from across India in the country’s largest annual gathering of K-12 education leaders. The school proudly received the award for securing the fifth rank in the city of Chandigarh. The honour was received by school Manager Sukhreet Hayer on behalf of the management, staff, students, and parents. This well-deserved recognition stands as a testimony to the relentless efforts, commitment, and excellence demonstrated by the entire school community.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
