A special assembly was organised at the school to brief the students about the importance of nutrition and balanced diet. They were also apprised of the ‘Poshan Abhiyan’ launched by the Prime Minister, which aims to achieve improvement in the status of nutrition of both children and women. The students also took pledge promising to adopt healthy eating habits and saying no to junk food. Later, an essay writing competition was organised on the topic, ‘Shree Anna-The Power House of Nutrients’ where students embodied the perfect blend of health benefits, environmental sustainability and cultural significance by expressing their thoughts on integrating millets into modern diet.
