To respect and honour grandparents, the kindergarten section of the school organised a special event, ‘Meet and Greet Grandparents’. The celebration included many activities where grandparents spent memorable time with their grandchildren. All the grandparents were given a warm welcome in traditional style. Students along with their grandparents participated in craft activities and fun-filled games. Grandparents felt very special and were overwhelmed when their grandchildren presented songs in their innocent voices. Grandparents took this opportunity to share their experiences that added value to the celebration. They delighted the audience by dancing away to glory on old melodious songs. Grandparents enjoyed the refreshments and clicked memorable photographs at the attractive photo booths. The event was a grand success and was highly appreciated.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
