The school celebrated 11th International Yoga Day on the serene school ground. The morning began at 6 am sharp, with a vibrant gathering of students, parents, teachers, and staff members, united in the spirit of health, harmony, and holistic well-being. For the past two months, the school community had been diligently preparing for this day through regular yoga sessions conducted under the expert guidance of Avnish Kumar, a devoted yoga scholar. The event began with ‘Om’ chanting, followed by a structured yoga practice that included breathing exercises, warm-up stretches, and a series of asanas suited to all age groups. The cool morning air, paired with the collective energy of the participants, created a rejuvenating atmosphere across the school ground. To conclude the session, a refreshing glass of lemonade was served to all attendees. Col NR Baberwal, SMC member, addressed the gathering and emphasised the importance of yoga not just as a physical exercise, but as a lifestyle choice that cultivates peace, discipline, and emotional balance. He encouraged everyone to integrate yoga into their daily routine as a means of lifelong wellness.
