St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, Chandigarh, ushered in the spirit of leadership and responsibility with its investiture ceremony for the academic session 2024-25. Dignitaries from the school management graced the occasion. Additional Principal Chandan S Patwal introduced the newly elected students’ council. Principal Dr Ivorine Castellas conferred the badge and school flag on school Captain Mehtaash Kaur and school Vice-Captain Sonavar Khan. The school Sport Captains, House Captains, Senior Prefects and Junior Prefects were also presented with badges. The students present applauded the newly elected members while the school choir presented melodious songs. The principal in her address said all council members need to be role models and work for the benefits of the student. She reiterated that the student council positions are about responsibility and authority, guiding them to be exemplary in their behaviour and conduct.
