Class X students of the school visited the CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) lab, where science came to life in the most exciting way. During the educational excursion, students were introduced to the fascinating process of DNA extraction. They observed how scientific techniques are used to isolate and study the genetic blueprint of life. Guided by expert scientists, the session was not only informative but also deeply inspiring, igniting curiosity and a passion for biotechnology. This hands-on experience provided invaluable insights into the world of molecular biology and the practical applications of science in solving real-world problems. The students returned with a greater appreciation for research and innovation, truly inspired to explore the limitless possibilities of science.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
