Stepping Stones hosts annual scrabble event

Open to students from classes V to XII, the event tested vocabulary, spelling, and strategic thinking through a series of competitive rounds that were both intellectually stimulating and socially engaging. The chief guest was Raavee Bains, a gold medallist with a Master’s degree in political science and mass communication from Panjab University. Participants from all four categories displayed outstanding wordplay and enthusiasm. In Group I (classes V–VI), Prabhav from Stepping Stones School (International), claimed the first position, followed by Anshuman from Stepping Stones School at the second place, and Aradhya from St Soldier’s School at the third place. Group II (classes VII–VIII) saw Sparsh Singhal from Saupin’s School, Chandigarh, securing the first place, while Srishti from Stepping Stones International School, Chandigarh, and Namish of St Soldier’s School, came second and third, respectively. In Group III (classes IX–X), Anrika from Stepping Stones School (International), Chandigarh, got the first position. The second position was bagged by Yuvam of Stepping Stones School, and the third by Gautam from Moti Ram Arya School. In Group IV (classes XI–XII), Keerti Jain from Bhavan Vidyalaya, took the top spot. Aryan Thakur from Stepping Stones School followed in second place, and Shavik from Mount Carmel secured the third place. Principal Anu Kumar congratulated the winners for their achievements and extended her appreciation to all participating schools for their wholehearted involvement and sportsmanlike spirit.
