Young children of the kindergarten section of BKM Vishwas School, Panchkula, visited a temple as part of their educational and religious excursion during Navratri. The purpose of the tour was to introduce the children to Indian culture, religious places and spiritual values. The little children visited the temple premises, witnessed the process of worship and experienced meditation and prayer in a peaceful environment. The children were accompanied by their teachers and helpers. The priest of the temple gave information about the temple to the children in simple language and gave chocolates, toffees, etc, as ‘prasad’ to all students.
