Sushila Devi Public School, Patiala, organises inter-school declamation contest

The school organised an inter-school declamation contest in collaboration with the Rotary International Club, Patiala, on its campus. As many as 60 participants from 10 schools participated in the competition. Principal Rekha Gupta welcomed the members of management, Kunal Aggarwal, members of Rotary International Club, Patiala, and experts in English language teaching Dr Gurcharan Singh (president, Rotary International Club, Patiala), Dr AS Grover (Rotary International Club, Patiala) and Ramandeep Kaur from the Punjab College of Education, Bahadurgarh. The competition was held with a view to creating an opportunity for young speakers to come forward and share their ideas. There were three categories — Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary — for the contest. Dr Gurcharan Singh shared his valuable thoughts and emphasised the importance of sharing and caring. Trophies were given to the winners.
