The school cricket team won the 13th Wg Cdr SS Gyani Memorial Cricket Tournament held at St Soldier School, Panchkula. The school’s champions defeated St Soldier’s School and won the final match by 25 runs. The team was also awarded the Prestigious Running Trophy of the tournament. The Man of the Match title was awarded to Suchendra V Singh who scored 130 runs of just 56 balls. Other special recognitions that were awarded during the tournament were Best Fielder-Rajat and Best Batsman and Man of the Series Suchendra V Singh. The cricket champions were Advitiya, Manraj Singh, Aaransh Sapra, Rushil P Mandgaonkar, Rajat, Shauryansh Malik, Aarav Dhamija, Hriday Gupta, Piyush Chaudhary, Ashutosh Awasthi, Aashray V Dubey, Mayank Pandey, Prabhsimar S Goyat, Dhruv Lohariwala, Jashan Chaudhary, and Suchendra V Singh.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
