Celebrating Republic Day, the school remembered the rights and duties of citizens in a democratic country. The unfurling ceremony of the national flag was initiated by Director RD Singh and Principal Manish Hablani, followed by singing of the national anthem. The highlight of the day was that the march of 20 students was led by a female NCC cadet. Students delivered a melodious patriotic performance and expressed their views on the relevance of the day. Commemorating the spirit of the independent nation and the fundamental rights enjoyed by its citizens, the event concluded with an insightful speech by the principal, who highlighted the theme of the 75th Republic Day, ie ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat: Loktantra ki Matruka’, which symbolises India’s aspirations and its role as a nurturer of democracy. The director emphasised on the need for women empowerment and their contribution in nation building.
