In a commendable effort to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living, the State Legal Services Authority, Chandigarh, UT, organised a tree plantation drive under the initiative “Each Tree a New Beginning” at AKSIPS-41 Smart School, Chandigarh. The programme aimed at sensitising students and the community about the importance of tree plantation and ecological conservation. The event began with a brief address by a representative of the Legal Services Authority, highlighting the objective of the initiative and the legal rights related to environmental protection. This was followed by a plantation ceremony where students and officials planted saplings of various native and medicinal plants on the school premises. Principal Ritu Bali appreciated the efforts of the authority and motivated students to take responsibility for nurturing the plants and contributing to a greener future.
