To pay tributes to one of the India’s greatest freedom fighters, Shaheed Udham Singh, a special assembly was conducted at Paragon Convent School, Chandigarh, marking his martyrdom day with great respect and patriotic fervour. A soulful poem dedicated to the bravery and sacrifice of Udham Singh was recited by Rubinder Kaur, followed by a powerful speech highlighting his courageous act of avenging the Jalianwala Bagh massacre and bringing justice to the victims was given by Rupinder in Punjabi. Principal Rajni Dutta addressed the gathering reminding students of the values of courage, justice and selfless love for the nation. The assembly concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.
