Holy Mary’s School, Banur, celebrated the outstanding achievement of Tushar, a student of Class VII-D of the school, who secured the first position in the U-14 long jump event at the CBSE Cluster XVII Athletic Championship 2025. The championship was hosted by Sushila Devi Public School and conducted by the CBSE Cluster XVII at Punjabi University, Patiala. With participation from nearly 50 schools across the region, Tushar’s gold medal brought immense pride and recognition to the school. Tushar credited his success to the dedicated efforts of his PT teachers and the unwavering support of the school. His father Vijay Kumar celebrated by sharing sweets with the staff and management, expressing his heartfelt joy. With this victory, Tushar now qualifies to represent the school at the upcoming CBSE National Games, taking his journey to the next level. Principal Dr Shiny Devassy congratulated Tushar on his outstanding performance and wished him the very best for his upcoming participation in the CBSE National Games.
