The opening ceremony and balloon release were conducted by Anupam Grewal (Director-Principal) and Paramdeep Singh Grewal (Administrator). The event was graced by Ravi Kumar Verma, a distinguished former cricketer and mentor to several accomplished players, as the guest of honour. The league commenced with a toss and inaugural match between St Joseph Senior Secondary School and Kids ‘R’ Kids Secondary School, where the school registered an impressive victory after a closely contested game. Participating schools included YPS, Mohali, St Xavier’s Chandigarh, Ryan International School Chandigarh, St Mary’s School, Chandigarh, Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, and Shishu Niketan, Mohali. All teams displayed exceptional zeal, skill, and sportsmanship, making the opening day a resounding success.
