The Kindergarten wing of Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 66, Mohali, celebrated Van Mahotsav to raise awareness about forest conservation and environmental protection. This occasion provided an ideal opportunity to instil a sense of personal and social responsibility in students towards preserving trees and forests. The celebration focused on creating a personal connection between students and trees through experiential learning, reflection and creativity. Wing in-charge Jaswinder Sidhu delivered a speech highlighting the importance of tree plantation, while primary wing students actively participated by planting saplings on the school campus. Through this initiative, the school demonstrated its commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability, inspiring students to become responsible stewards of the planet.
