The school, in collaboration with the Bharat Scouts and Guides, hosted a vibrant celebration of Vanmahotsav, promoting environmental awareness and community service. The event was graced by dignitaries, including chief guest Suman Behmani, Mayor of Yamunanagar, DEO Dharmender Chaudhary, Head of Bharat Scouts and Guides Sandeep Gupta, Ritu Yadav, Vice-Chairman of Mukand Institutions Dr Ramesh Kumar, and principals and teachers from various schools. The programme showcased captivating cultural performances by students, who were felicitated with medals by Mayor Suman Behmani for their enthusiasm and talent. Tokens of appreciation were presented to the chief guest and DEO, acknowledging their support. A tree-planting ceremony, led by the dignitaries, symbolised the school’s commitment to environmental conservation. Behmani lauded the students and staff for their efforts in raising awareness about afforestation. Principal Jyoti Nagpal Sethi warmly welcomed the guests, highlighting the Mukand philosophy of education and community service. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to host the meaningful event. The celebration concluded with refreshments served to students, fostering a spirit of unity and environmental responsibility.
