Vansh Pannu wins medals in swimming at Khelo India

Vansh Pannu, a Class XII student of Bal Vikas Progressive School, Panipat, has won a gold medal in 50 metres breaststroke. He also bagged a silver medal in the medley relay and a bronze medal in 4X100 metres freestyle swimming at the Khelo India national finals. Vansh has been constantly honing his swimming skills at the all-weather swimming pool in his school. Post pandemic, the school management had opened their all-weather pool to specially provide him with uninterrupted training during winter season for his prospective swimming championships. The Haryana Government has announced a cash price of Rs 1 lakh for the gold, 60,000 for silver and 40,000 for bronze medal winners in Khelo India Youth Games 2021.
