School students secured top positions in various events at the Hub of Learning Inter-School Sports Athletic Meet Competition 2025 at Pioneer Convent School, Gajjan Majra, the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from several schools across the region. Shubreet Kaur of Class IX, Navneet Kaur of Class VII, and Rahulinder Singh of Class VIII from the school emerged victorious, securing first position in their respective events such as 100 m, 200 m, 400 m track races, shot put, discus throw and long jump. The school management and staff congratulated the winners on their outstanding achievement, praising their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. This accomplishment is a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing the talents of its students and promoting a culture of excellence in academics and extracurricular activities.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
