Students of classes VII and VIII of the school visited the Shaheed Udham Singh Memorial. The memorial, dedicated to the legendary freedom fighter Udham Singh, resonated with historical significance as the young learners paid homage to his indomitable spirit and sacrifice. Accompanied by their teachers, the students engaged in a guided tour that showcased artefacts, photographs, and detailed accounts of Udham Singh’s life and his pivotal role in India’s struggle for Independence. The visit was not merely an educational outing but an opportunity for the students to connect deeply with the nation’s history and draw inspiration from the courage and determination exhibited by Udham Singh. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Anitha Rajagopalan emphasised the importance of such visits in fostering a sense of patriotism and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.
