VB International School, Zirakpur, celebrated its 21st Annual Function at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18-B, Chandigarh. The event, themed "Navras", captured the nine emotions of human life love, laughter, courage, wonder, peace, anger, fear, compassion and disgust through captivating performances by the students. The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. The august gathering was graced by Dr Neeru Katyal Gupta, IAS, who presided as the chief guest for the evening. She lauded the school's efforts in nurturing creativity, confidence and cultural values among its students. The young performers enthralled the audience with a spectacular blend of dance, drama and music. Each act beautifully portrayed one of the nine rasas, taking the audience on an emotional and visual journey that celebrated the richness of human expression. Founder Sushma Manrai, Director Kulbhushan Kumar Manrai and Principal Aseem Manrai extended heartfelt appreciation to the parents for their unwavering support and to the teachers and students for their dedication and hard work in making the event a grand success. The evening concluded with a tribute to our soldiers, leaving the audience inspired and moved by the vibrant celebration of "Navras" the emotions that connect humanity.
