Students of the school took out a rally on Vanmahotsav in Basdhara village under the guidance of Principal Neetu Mokal and spread awareness about the importance of tree plantation. These young enthusiastic students went around the village and told people why tree plantation is important for our life. They distributed saplings to the villagers and motivated them to plant trees. Through this rally, the students not only understood their responsibility towards the environment but they also tried to spread awareness in their community. This event will definitely make everyone aware of the importance of tree plantation and environmental conservation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
