At Gurukul Global School, we integrate technology through smart boards, digital tools like Scratch, Paint 3D and coding platforms. Edtech programs support personalised learning, while project-based tasks and collaborative activities foster critical thinking. Students engage in hackathons, ATL challenges and creative workshops, encouraging innovation, independence and a deeper understanding of concepts through tech-enhanced learning experiences.

What are the cultural and extra-curricular highpoints of your school in the past year?

The school hosted several landmark events last year, including the Leadership Conclave, Vidya Parvati Memorial Inter School Competition and Devraj Malik Memorial Basketball Tournament. These celebrated platforms promote leadership, creativity and sportsmanship. Attracting participation from Tricity and across India, these events have become cultural highlights, nurturing holistic development and providing students with valuable exposure and experiential learning opportunities.

Innovation is embedded in our curriculum through STEM modules, project-based learning and hands-on activities. Our Robotics Club allows students to design and programme robots, compete in tech events, and solve real-world problems. Teachers use digital tools and inquiry-based strategies to foster creativity, critical thinking and collaboration-preparing students for a dynamic, technology-driven future. Our FutureTech Lab is a hub for innovation, equipped with AI kits, 3D printers, AR/VR tools and robotics platforms.

What is your long-term vision for transforming education?

At Gurukul Global School, we aim to be a hub of future-focused education-where technology, creativity and empathy shape adaptable, innovative learners. Our leadership fosters this through teacher training, digital infrastructure and curriculum updates. By promoting a value-based, skill-driven approach and encouraging feedback, we ensure innovation is embedded in both teaching and student experience.

What skills are important for students in this tech-driven age and what steps has your school taken to instil these?

In today's tech-driven world, students need digital literacy, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and ethical awareness. At Gurukul Global School, we develop these through coding, design challenges, research tasks, and value-based education. Project-based learning, collaborative work and hands-on experimentation promote adaptability, problem-solving, and digital fluency-empowering students to become responsible, future-ready global citizens.

Have any mental health measures been taken to ensure holistic growth of students?

At Gurukul Global School, we prioritise students' mental well-being as part of their holistic growth. We offer regular counselling sessions, mindfulness activities, and life skills programmes to help students manage stress and build emotional resilience. Our open-door policy, supportive staff, and well-being workshops create a safe environment where students feel heard, valued and emotionally supported.
