The workshop was conducted by Dr Seema Biji, Principal, Motiram Arya SS Model School, and Jagmeet Kaur Bhatti, PGT, St Joseph’s SS School. The sessions focused on strengthening pedagogical skills and equipping teachers with innovative strategies for effective teaching of English. Key highlights included interactive activities on reading sub-skills, listening strategies, role-play, situation-based enactments, use of word gradients, and analytical approaches to prose and poetry. Teachers actively engaged in hands-on exercises, like crosswords, group discussions, and dictation activities that emphasised experiential and activity-based learning. Jasdeep Kalra, Director, AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools, appreciated the initiative and said such programmes empower teachers to create vibrant and interactive classrooms. The workshop concluded with positive feedback from participants and a group photograph.
