The 3 Punjab Naval Unit, NCC, Bathinda, conducted a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission) and celebrated World River Day near Lake Number 3. The event saw the participation of NCC cadets from different schools, emphasising the importance of cleanliness and conservation of water resources. Commanding Officer Captain Ishraj Singh addressed the cadets on the significance of conserving water resources and rivers. The event was attended by 30 NCC cadets from Silver Oaks School, Sushant City-2, Bathinda, who actively participated in the cleanliness drive and the awareness rally. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the importance of keeping water bodies clean and conserving natural resources, aligning with the goals of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and World River Day. The Principal of the school Neetu Arora appreciated the work done by the cadets. A monthly training session was also conducted for the NCC cadets of the school by staff of the naval unit on the school campus under the guidance of Commanding Officer Captain Ishraj Singh. The training was aimed to apprise cadets of the naval unit of their duties and responsibilities.
