The school initiated an exciting activity of scuba diving for its students and staff. The activity took place in the school’s swimming pool from August 10 to 20. The camp was organised in collaboration with the Scuba Diving Foundation of India. The camp was led by Certified Naval Divers and Nationally Acclaimed Trainers, Captain Sanjay Kadian, VSM (retd), Commander Rajiv Sardana (retd) and Archana Sardana. The students, both non-swimmers and swimmers are imparted theoretical and practical training in the use of SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) Diving as well as snorkelling in confined water. “We are thrilled to offer our students this incredible opportunity to learn and grow in such a dynamic environment,” said YPS, Patiala, Headmaster, Navin Kumar Dixit.
