Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, celebrated its Annual Academic Day, honouring the scholars and achievers of ISC and ICSE 2024–25 for their outstanding academic performances. The chief guest, Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab, and Administrator UT Chandigarh, felicitated the meritorious students. The distinguished presence of Chairman Raja Malvinder Singh, accompanied by Harpriya Kaur and the Board of Governors, added to the significance of the occasion. The DC, Mohali, and the DIG, Ropar Range, also graced the occasion. The school campus was vibrant with enthusiasm as students, parents, and teachers gathered to celebrate the achievements and progress of the Yadavindrians. The programme began with the Chairman extending a warm welcome to the chief guest followed by a devotional shabad rendition. Director Major General TPS Waraich, in his address, reflected upon the school’s vision and mission of shaping confident, compassionate, and capable global citizens aligned with its motto — Vidya, Vinay, Veerta (Wisdom, Humility, Courage). The school report, presented by the Head Boy and the Head Girl highlighted the institution’s remarkable academic, sports and co-curricular achievements, innovative learning initiatives, and strides in sustainability and digital education. The prize-giving ceremony began by honouring students who performed brilliantly in the 2024-25 ISC / ICSE Board Examination and were awarded silver medals and cash awards. Hunnardeep Kaur Virk clinched the Tricity Topper title for the medical stream, while Manraj Singh and Samarveer Singh Chatha topped the non-medical stream in the ISC. Jasnoor Kaur Matharoo was declared the commerce topper, and Yashvi Singh Parmar, humanities topper in the ISC. In the ICSE, Arshnoor Singh secured the top position. Significant honours like Badhaur Medal, First Decade Medal, Air Force Trophy, Mrinal Dutta Trophy, overall Co-Curricular Trophy, Best House in Academics Trophy and Overall Champions Trophy was presented to the awardees. The cultural segment of the programme began with a melodious folk song, followed by a captivating fusion song and a lively bhangra performance, showcasing the school’s rich blend of cultural expression and youthful energy. In his address, the Governor of Punjab congratulated the school for its exemplary performance and commitment to quality education. The event concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.
