St Theresa’s Convent School, Karnal, announced the remarkable achievement of its student, Yuvein of Class VII-B, in lawn tennis. After excelling at the district-level tournament, he qualified for the state-level lawn tennis tournament held in Yamunanagar. Competing against 29 teams, Yuvein’s exceptional performance led Karnal to secure the first position, while he individually clinched the first prize. Yuvein now prepares for the national-level tournament. The school congratulated him and wished him continued success ahead.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
