Before my marriage I lived in Chandigarh, and post marriage Mohali has been my life-long partner in taking life upfront. Having seen both the cities always at peace, brimming with energy and welcoming everyone, it was painful to see them dark, stunned and scared since the last couple of days. Never imagined this scenario with a war siren disturbing the peace and impacting the lives of residents of my beloved cities.
In spite of these unforeseen circumstances, people of these two cities are keeping their smiles intact, with a hope that the City Beautiful will keep on being beautiful and its sister city Mohali will keep its energetic character intact. The roads, the trees, the parks, and of course the people are all dear to me and I want them all to be safe. Praying that peace prevails soon!
