Chandigarh, December 9

AG Haryana defeated AG Himachal Pradesh 3-0 in the opening match of the IA&AD North Zone Hockey Tournament, at the Sector 42 Sports Complex, here today. Sunil Shah scored the first goal in the 3rd minute, in the following minute, Tribeni Prashad doubled the lead. In the 15th minute, Sarvjeet Singh scored the third goal to confirm an easy 3-0 victory. In the second match, AG Punjab ousted AG Jammu & Kashmir 4-0. Deepanshu Bhargava netted the first goal in the 2nd minute, while Pawan Bassi scored the second goal in the 4th minute. Ravinder Singh extended the lead to 3-0 in the 18th minute, while Chandeep Singh stretched it to 4-0 in the 58th minute to seal a 4-0 victory.
