Bopanna and Ramkumar trounced Benjamin Bonzi and Hugo Nys 6-1 6-3 in the doubles quarterfinals.

However, Sania Mirza and her Ukrainian partner Nadiia Kichenok failed to make the summit clash of the women’s event. They lost their semifinal 1-6 6-2 8-10 to locals Ashleigh Barty and Storm Sanders.

The unseeded pair of Bopanna and Ramkumar will now clash with fourth seeds Tomislav Brkic and Santiago Gonzalez for a spot in the final. — PTI
