Parvej Khan fails dope test, provisionally suspended

Top Indian middle distance runner Parvej Khan, who recently made headlines in the country with his exploits at the NCAA circuit in the United States of America, has been provisionally suspended after failing a dope test. The 19-year-old Khan stares at a maximum ban of four years if he is proved guilty of doping.

Antonelli crashes in F1 practice debut at Italian GP

Teenager Kimi Antonelli’s Formula 1 debut lasted 10 minutes on Friday. Antonelli, who only turned 18 on Sunday, was involved in a high-speed crash in practice for the Italian Grand Prix. He lost control of his Mercedes car at the iconic Parabolica corner, spinning off the track and flying through the gravel trap into the barriers, knocking off the front wing of the car.
