Diksha Dagar registered her best result in almost two-and-a-half years with a tied-4th finish with a flawless final round of 6-under 66 at the Czech Ladies Open. She finished at 12-under, three shots behind the winner, Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand. This is Diksha’s second-best result after her lone win on the Ladies European Tour in early 2019. Diksha last achieved a top-10 result in February last year when she was Tied-7th in Australia.

Sajan sets national record in 200m freestyle
A day after achieving the elusive ‘A’ cut for the Olympics, swimmer Sajan Prakash continued his purple patch by setting a new national record in the 200m freestyle event at the Sette Colli Trophy in Rome today. Prakash clocked 1 minute, 49.73 seconds in the heats at the Olympics qualifier, bettering former Asian Games medallist Virdhawal Khade’s mark of 1:49.86.

Haryana Boxing Sangh suspends secretary
The Haryana Boxing Sangh, the apex body for the administration of boxing affairs in the state, has suspended its secretary Ashwini Sharma and cancelled the affiliation of its Panipat unit.
