Gaurav Gill to take part in WRC Safari Rally
New Delhi, June 15
India’s premier rallyist Gaurav Gill is all set to return to competitive racing after a gap of two years. Gill will take part in the WRC Safari Rally in Kenya, which starts on June 23.
Gill’s last competitive WRC event was the Rally of Turkey, where he won a lot of plaudits despite not winning. Gill will be driving the Skoda Fabia R5 in the Safari Rally.
“I want to make the most of this chance. I have been out of my seat for the last two years and I am glad that I am back,” Gill said. “I will give it my all and ensure that I finish obviously because this rally is not all about speed,” he added.
