After disheartened defeat to Australia, India's chances of making the women's T20 World Cup semifinals now hinge on Pakistan beating New Zealand on Monday.

Indian team delivered a lackluster performance on the field against Australia, ultimately resulting in a nine-run loss to defending champions Australia in their must-win game on Sunday.

India dropped three catches, while also missing a stumping opportunity. To add to their woes, a close lbw call also went against them.

India's hopes of making the last-four stage of the tournament depends on Pakistan.  If Pakistan win today’s match India will make it to the semifinals.

Zealand is currently in third place with four points, while India is at second place with four points.
