Durham (england): Young opener Haseeb Hameed celebrated his Test recall with a gritty hundred even as Umesh Yadav bowled a few incisive spells and was largely responsible in India bowling Select County XI out for 220 on the second day of the warm-up First-Class game. Hameed scored 112 off 246 balls. Umesh picked up three wickets, while Mohamed Siraj took two wickets. Jasprit Bumrah had one wicket. Meanwhile, India captain Virat Kohli, who skipped the warm-up game due to a back issue, was back in the nets. Kohli is expected to play in the intra-squad game that will be held next week. Young fast bowler Avesh Khan has been ruled out of the warm-up game due to a left-thumb fracture he sustained on Day 1.
