India advanced to the final of the SAFF U-19 Women’s Championship after defeating Nepal 1-0 in their last group match here today. Priyanka Devi scored in the 66th minute. India’s head coach Alex Ambrose made two changes to his starting XI, with Nitu Linda and Lynda Kom coming in place of Kritina Devi and Santosh.

India will take on Bangladesh in the final on Wednesday. Bangladesh finished on top of the group with 10 points, while India finished second with nine points. India had lost 0-1 to Bangladesh earlier in the tournament.

Mumbai suffer shock loss

Margao: Kerala Blasters notched up a comprehensive 3-0 win over 10-man Mumbai City FC in an Indian Super League match here today.
