The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has announced that all medal winners, coaches, and athletes who secured fourth positions at the just concluded Asian Youth Games will be felicitated at a ceremony.

They have also announced cash prizes where the individual gold medallists will be handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh, silver medallists Rs 3 lakh, bronze medallists Rs 2 lakh and fourth place finishers Rs 50,000.

Coaches of medal winning athletes will be awarded Rs 1 lakh and the kabaddi players will also get Rs 1 lakh individually.

“The Indian Olympic Association takes immense pride in the exemplary performance of our young athletes at the 3rd Asian Youth Games. Their achievements reflect the future of Indian sport and the potential that lies within our youth. The IOA remains fully committed to providing every possible support to nurture and develop this emerging talent,” IOA president PT Usha said in a statement.
